Trip to Machu Picchu by bus. Reaching Machu Picchu is available only for the final part of the journey. There is no need to book buses earlier, as they’re running from 6.30 am all day long. For example, you can buy a ticket to climb up, and then simply walk down from the city to experience this place completely. At the same time, if you decide to climb by foot, don’t forget that you’ll need energy to explore the place, so if you’re not in top shape, use buses. After all, this is one of the most significant world heritage places on our planet.
What you need to see? There are two places that you simply must visit up there, in the clouds. Intihuatana and the temple of the Sun. If you’re a very athletic person, there’s an option to climb Huayana Picchu, the mountain that looms over the city.
